Show News: Billy Gardell “Stands Up” in Support of a Great Cause

Another Throwback Thursday Show News takes us to the Improv Zona Rosa in Kansas City where headlining Comedian Billy Gardell joined us to help raise funds for a great nonprofit organization, Synergy Services.

The star of the hit CBS show Mike and Molly performed an intimate, hilarious show for the sold-out “Stand Up For Synergy” crowd, resulting in an enthusiastic standing ovation.

The event helped benefit Synergy Services, who is dedicated to ending violence, providing safe places for victims of violence, and helping to empower survivors and educate the community. Their programs include crisis hotlines, emergency shelter, transitional housing, therapeutic services, mentoring and violence prevention programs.
