The Mechanical Surfboard is a simulator that tests your balance and “Hang 10” skills without ever getting wet. A participant stands on an authentic surfboard that is mounted on a hydraulic mechanism while the operator controls the “waves”. The surfer is surrounded on all sides by a brightly-colored inflatable airbag that provides a safe, cushioned landing. The Mechanical Surfboard is safe for all ages and can be set to a slow and easy mode for beginners, with increasing skill levels and speeds for advanced surfers.
