Kevin Howard performs a smooth, charismatic and energetic jazz show.
Kevin Howard’s jazz sound is tantalizingly smooth and his performance style is full of energy and charisma. He is a winner of several prestigious awards including three Best Jazz Performer awards from renowned local urban radio station WAMO, a WQED Harry Schwab Excellence in the Arts award, along with accolades from the Best Performer Champions Association and Pittsburgh City Paper. Kevin’s trio served as Pittsburgh’s WJJJ Smooth Jazz Band for more than two years and performed at various events sponsored by the radio station. He has toured with and was the musical director for jazz saxophone legend Ronnie Laws, and has recorded and performed with saxophonist Marion Meadows, Jonathan Butler, Norman Connors, Lonnie Liston Smith, Najee and George Benson. He has shared the stage with Roy Ayers, Pieces of a Dream, Joe McBride and John Legend, and headlined at festivals across the nation. The Kevin Howard Trio includes keyboards, bass and drums. Kevin can also perform solo.
